Asus launched 2 variants of Zenfone 3 Max in India

The Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company ASUSTeK Computer Inc. was founded in 1989. The company mainly deals in computer peripherals, desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets. It produced products under the brand name Asus. The company mainly uses Intel and Qualcomm Processors in its Android-based handsets. The company launched two different variants of Zenfone 3 Max in the Indian market. The first model with a 5.2-inch display and codename ZC520TL has the MRP of Rs.12999/-. The second model with a 5.5-inch display and codename ZC553KL has the MRP of Rs.17999/-. These phones are now available on online as well as offline retail stores. They are available in Glacier Silver, Sand Gold and Titanium Gray color options.

This is the higher version of the handset. It comes with a better processor, larger screen, and better optics.

Display

The phone features 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors. The screen resolution of the display is 1920 x 1080 pixels and supports multi-touch as well.

Processor and memory

In terms of processing power, the phone has impressive innards. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset coupled with the octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. It also packs 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which is further expandable to 128 GB via microSD card.

Optics

The ZC553KL sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash module. The rear camera supports features like autofocus, touch focus, HDR, and panorama. The ZC553KL also packs an 8-megapixel front camera which is good enough for selfies and video chat. It can shoot videos at [email protected] on both cameras.

Communication

The phone can connect to all available bands. It uses Edge, GPRS and 4G LTE for internet connectivity. It can also connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The phone packs 3.5mm audio jack with FM support. It uses MicroUSB 2.0 port for wired connectivity with USB OTG support.

The dimensions of the phone are 151.40 x 76.24 x 8.30mm and it weighs 175 grams. The ZC553KL runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow with ZenUI 3.0 UI on the top. It packs a non-removable Li-ion 4100 mAh battery. The phone can also be used as a power bank to charge other phones.
