CES 2017: JBL Pulse 3, Playlist, Flip 4 and BassPro Go Speakers Launched

Harman –International is one of the oldest companies that deal in music equipment. The company has recently accepted an acquisition offer from Samsung. The company sells the speakers under the brand name JBL which is known for the quality speakers and other products. During the CES 2017, the company has launched four speakers. Dubbed as JBL Pulse 3, Flip 4, Playlist and BassPro Go Speakers these speakers are equipped with amazing sound quality, state-of-the-art design, and great features.

JBL Pulse 3

The design of the JBL Pulse 3 reminds of the Lava Lamp. It is a wireless portable Bluetooth speaker that comes with 360-degree lighting panel which gives the illusion of lava lamp. These lights sync with the music being played on the speakers. The speakers are located at the bottom of the device, and they can emit 360-degree sound. The speaker comes with three drivers and dual passive radiators. It has IPX7 water resistance certification. The company claims that the inbuilt battery is good enough for 12 hours of music playback with the light system on. In case you switch off the lights, the number of hours will increase.

You can pair two smartphones with the speaker. However, over 100 speakers that support JBL Connect+ can be paired together to play single music file over the array of speakers. You can also use the speaker to receive calls. There is also a one button action for Google Assistant, Siri or JBL’s own AI assistant to control music. It is available in Black and White color options, and the MRP of the speaker is USD 199 and will come to market by the end of first quarter or during the second quarter.

JBL Flip 4

This speaker has a more traditional look and does not have any lights. Rest of the features are similar to JBL Pulse 3 that means you can connect two smartphones at once over Bluetooth, 12-hour battery life, water resistance, JBL Connect+, virtual assistant button, etc. The company claims that the speaker has rugged design as it has used durable fabric and rubber. The speaker is available in 6 different color options. It will hit the market in March 2017, and the MRP of the speaker is USD 99.
