Facebook Launched its Snapchat-type feature on Messenger globally

Facebook has declared to roll out its ‘Messenger Day’ feature globally. Many critics are saying that it is a copy of Snapchat App. The company is not afraid of copy, no matters what they say.

Hopefully, we all are aware of the Snap chat app. Snap Inc., the parent company of snapchat, has filed IPO recently. Earlier Snap Inc. vanished soon, competes with big social media names like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The company has signed a huge deal with Google and Amazon to improve its services. This news again may give a hard time to Snapchat Inc.

It seems bad days are back for snapchat again. When Facebook had announced to roll out its snap feature to all, the snapchat’s share price gone down a bit. Facebook has already tested this app in countries like Poland and Australia. It has got millions of users in testing phase only. Now the company has decided to launch to this messenger app for everyone. All Facebook lovers are cheering up when they got this news. This function will open for both iOS and Android users. This new feature will allow share pics and videos with the public. These posts will vanish after 24 hours.

Facebook has billions of active users so that it might get large user base very soon for ‘Messenger Day’ as well. This can easily compete Snapchat in terms of user growth. This app will boost visual message through messenger’s newly enhanced camera.

Facebook has added many new functions which Snapchat does not have. You can easily found the person who is currently available to chat. You will see a green dot for those who are online.

The VP of messaging, David Marcus said that they would insert ads between posts. This will become its first revenue streams.
