Intex has launched a new smartphone with 3G connectivity in the Indian market. Dubbed as Intex Aqua Power M, the phone is a new and powerful addition to company’s Aqua series. The MRP of the handset is Rs.4800/- which is quite decent for a budget 3G phone. The main selling point of the phone is its 4350 mAh battery.

The phone features a 5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with screen resolution at 1280 x 720 pixels. The display gives the pixel density of 294 ppi, and the screen-to-body ratio is 67.17%. It supports up to 5-finger multi-touch as well.

It packs a MediaTek MTK6580 chipset coupled with a quad-core processor with all 4 Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. Aqua Power M comes with 1 GB RAM along with 8 GB internal storage capacity however out of 8 GB only 4.4 GB is available for user’s documents. Rest of the space is consumed by the operating system and apps. The internal storage is expandable up to 32 GB. The phone also packs a Mali400 MP2 GPU for better graphics and gaming experience.
The phone packs a 5-megapixel camera with 4P lens and aperture value of f/2.4. The camera comes with LED flash module for low light photography. It supports features like autofocus, touch focus, Face Beauty, Gesture Capture, Smile Shoot, HDR, and panorama. The phone also packs a 2-megapixel front camera 2P lens and aperture value of f/2.8. The front camera also carries a flash module which helps in clicking photos in low light conditions. The front camera can shoot photographs at a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels while the rear camera can shoot at a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Both cameras can shoot videos at a maximum resolution of 720p at 30 frames per second.
