Karbonn Titanium Vista relaunched with 4G support at Rs.5090/-


Launched in October 2016, Karbonn Titanium Vista is another handset by the Indian manufacturer whose upgraded version has been launched recently. The Karbonn Titanium Vista 4G has the main highlight feature of the 4G support. It is one of the four handsets which Karbonn has upgraded to match the needs of growing the 4G mobile market in India. The MRP of the phone is Rs.5090/-, and it is available in Champagne White and Black color options.

The phone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with HD resolution at 1280 x 720 pixels. It supports multi-touch and has unspecified screen protection. The display can project 16M colors.

Processor and memory

As this is a budget phone, the processor and memory capabilities are limited. Still, a 4G smartphone at the given price can be useful to many low-income households. It comes with MediaTek MT6580 chipset with a quad-core processor that clock at 1.3GHz. The phone features 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The OS and apps consume around 3.5 GB out of these 8 GB, and remaining storage is available for media files and documents. You can also increase the storage capacity up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Camera specifications

Again, if we compare other 4G phones in similar price section, there are very few handsets that have good cameras. Still, Karbonn managed to add decent front and rear cameras. The phone also packs a 3.5-MP front camera for selfies and video chat. Both front and back cameras can shoot videos at 720p at 30 fps.

The phone support Dual SIM. As mentioned above, the company has upgraded an already popular handset so that it can support 4G connectivity. It can also connect to 2G and 3G networks as well. It used Edge, GPRS and 4G LTE bands for mobile internet. The phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS as other connectivity options. You can also use the phone as Wi-Fi hotspot for sharing Internet connection with nearby devices. The phone packs 3.5mm audio jack and support FM radio as well. It uses microUSB v2.0 port for wired connectivity to a computer. OTG is not available on this phone.

The phone runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow. The phone packs Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensors for better control. It packs 2300 mAh battery. The phone has Google apps like Chrome, Hangout, etc. along with other apps like Voot, Saavn, etc. It supports regional languages as well. The phone support active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. It packs audio and video player/editor as well along with a document viewer.
