Nubia N1 launched in India: Helio P10 with 3 GB of RAM

The Chinese manufacturer Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation better known as ZTE is the world’s 4th largest mobile phone manufacturer. The company launched a new Nubia series phone in Indian market. Dubbed as ZTE Nubia N1, the phone was first launched in Chinese market back in July 2016. It has now found its way to India along with Nubia Z11. The price tag of Nubia N1 is Rs.11999/-, and it is exclusively available on Amazon India. The registration for the phone will begin on 16th December.

Features of Nubia N1

Display

The phone features 5.5-inch IPC LCD capacitive touchscreen display with full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels. It gives the pixel density of approx 401 ppi. The screen-to-body ratio of the phone is 72.7 percent, and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Processor and memory

The phone packs MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset coupled with the octa-core processor clocked at different values. The first 4 x Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 2.0 GHz while the remaining 4 x Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 1.0 GHz. It also packs Mali-T860MP2 GPU for better graphics and video playback experience. The phone offers 3 GB RAM along with 64 GB internal storage which is further expandable to 256 GB. The problem here is that the microSD card uses the hybrid SIM slot. That means you can either upgrade your memory or have Dual SIM support.

Camera specifications

The phone comes with 13 MP rear camera setup and LED flashlight that comes in handy during low light photography. The aperture value on the rear camera is f/2.2. It supports features like autofocus, touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, smile detection, HDR, and panorama. The phone also packs a same quality 13 MP camera on the front side as well but without flash. Both rear and front cameras can shoot videos at [email protected]

Communication options

The phone can connect to 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE bands. It uses EDGE, GPRS and LTE networks for mobile Internet. The phone also supports additional communication features like Wi-Fi802.11 a/b/g/n. It also has Wi-Fi Direct for file transfer over same Wi-Fi network and hotspot option to share mobile internet connection. The phone packs Bluetooth v4.1 chipset and provides GPS support via A-GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou. The phone uses Type-C 1.0 reversible connector port for wired connection and has USB OTG support as well. It packs 3.5mm audio jack FM radio support.

Other features

The phone runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow with Nubia UI 4.0 on the top. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back panel which helps in quick access to phone and apps. The phone also packs other sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass for better user control. The dimensions of the phone are 150.9 x 75 x 8.9 mm and it weighs 190 grams. It comes with Li-Po 5000 mAh battery which can give up to 25 hours of talk time, 70 hours of music playback and 480 hours of standby time. The phone is available in Silver and Gold color options.
