OnePlus started its operations back in 2013. Since then, the Shenzhen-based start-up and mobile manufacturer have launched a very limited number of smartphones. In the beginning, the smartphones were only available based on invitation which gave them the ‘exclusive’ feel. The company managed to create the hype of being the ‘perfect’ mobile manufacturer. Though the phone had some issues and company is still working on many new features for upcoming phones, the name of OnePlus as a brand is known to many around the globe.

If you cannot wait for the update to roll out automatically, you can manually download Open Beta 1 update and sideload it on your phone. However, this will put you on the list of Beta receivers which may become problematic as Beta versions are not always stable. Make sure that your phone has a strong Wi-Fi connection, and good battery before you proceed to update it.
