OnePlus 3 Getting Google Assistant Update OTA


News surfaced a few days back claiming Google assistant to be available on more Android devices. The eligible devices should run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and higher, that is 7.0 Nougat. And this news is been confirmed once again. A user of OnePlus 3 recently confirmed the news. He has received the Google Assistant update in his device on Monday morning. So, who knows who is next? Might be this is your turn now.

The company is now rolling out this feature to the eligible Android devices. So, Android users do not need to install any app for that. It will reach to their device as an OTA update to the Google Play services. This virtual personal assistant is the successor of Google Now. But the successor is far more advanced and conversational. Users can accomplish a major part of their task through it.

Google assistant was very exclusive to the Google Pixel devices in the beginning. This was one point that made the device stand out definitely. All have appraised this feature. And all these stuff finally inspired Google to bring Google Assistant on all other Android devices.

Most of the Android phones such as Samsung, LG, HTC, Huawei, and Sony will receive this update soon. OnePlus 3 users already started receiving the update. So, the day is not far when you will discover Google Assistant in your device.

Launching the feature is as simple as that in the Android device. Just a long press on the home button and Google Assistant will be ready to help you out.

However, as of now, this is a big time for the OnePlus 3 users. They will get a chance to explore things more easily now. This device was launched in the last year June packed with numerous powerful features. 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB RAM, 3000 mAH battery along with 16 MP and 8MP camera made it a must have a device for sure. And now this Google assistant will add some more excitement to the device.
