Rumours: HTC 11 Specs leaked: 8GB RAM and bezel-free display

The Taiwanese consumer electronics manufacturer HTC is coming with some pretty exciting gadgets in 2017. The upcoming rumored phone HTC 11 has become a talk of the corner in last few weeks. Now the specifications of the phone got leaked on the Chinese website Weibo. If the leaks are to be believed, this phone is going to make a lot of smartphone enthusiast very excited and thrilled.

2017 is going to be a year of nearly bezel-free display in smartphones. Following the leads, HTC 11 may also come with a 5.5-inch QHD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The bezel-free display will give a good 90+% screen-to-body ratio. The display will have screen protection, but there is not a word about the version.

Strong Processing Power

Another feature which looks really promising is the CPU chipset. It is more likely to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset. The new chipset has revolutionary 10nm structure which provides superb power and excellent battery life. The main issue with high-end smartphones is that they lose battery too quickly. The new chipset will solve the problem to some extent. Also, the 3700 mAh battery that the phone is going to have will bring real charms to user’s life. The phone will come with Quick Charge 4.0 for faster and reliable charging.

There are rumors that the phone will come with 8 GB RAM which is quite unlikely. If it happens, that will be an amazing upgrade for HTC lovers. As iPhone came with 256 GB storage capacity, there is a chance that HTC will do the same. The company may bring the HTC 11 with 128 and 256 GB versions. HTC is trying to make sure that no stone is left unturned in terms of specifications.

Great Optics

Talking about the camera, the phone may come with 12 MP dual camera setup on the rear side and 8 MP camera on the front side. Both the cameras will be equipped with OIS. There are no words in the recent leaks about the video shooting, but it is more likely to be able to record 4K videos. Also, there may be an option for slow motion videos as well.

The HTC 10 has started receiving the Android 7 update. There are a lot of chances that HTC 11 will come with Android 7 Nougat out-of-the-box. In terms of communications, HTC 11 will support all available networks and may have NFC and IR port as well for device connectivity and mobile payments.

In the last few years, HTC has started to lose customers to other companies. With the launch of this phone, HTC may come back in the race of top 10 phones in the global market. The mobile market for HTC is quite good in India. The products by HTC are already famous among the users, and when HTC came with initial smartphones, the reputation of the company helped a lot in gaining new customers. Also, HTC’s after sale service network is very strong which makes it easier for the user to get technical help.
