Samsung Pay: Now Available in India, integrated with Paytm

Samsung is going to launch its Samsung Pay services in India soon. Recently, it had begun to accept the early registrations for the mobile payment services. This had started in India from the last week itself. Those who will be registered under this plan can avail the payment solution by Samsung in India. Samsung wishes to stand against the Apple Pay and Android Pay services. To achieve the same, Samsung has paired with Paytm to offer the payment solutions to the users. This partnership will be aimed at increasing popularity and convenience among the millions of users of the Paytm in India.

Samsung Pay will take support from the leading banks like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Standard Chartered and SBI. The services will soon come to the app as well as it is in talk with the Citibank. In the near future, Samsung Pay would extend its hands to the American Express as well.

A series of smartphones will support Samsung Pay under its brand name. This will include Galaxy S7, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy A7 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016). All of these mobile devices would support Samsung Pay. They have received a recent software update to receive the app automatically.

In the recent scene, Samsung Pay deals with transactions from Visa debit and credit cards along with Mastercard. In addition to India, the payment solutions by Samsung are also active in countries like South Korea, Australia, China, Russia, Canada, Singapore, Spain, United States and Thailand. The service is also expected to support the other Android phones in the coming times.

With such updates, we can be ensured of great payment services in future. All we would need is our smartphone to support the same. Great ways ahead in our journey to digitalization.
