Xiaomi to launch Mi VR Play 2 in China on April 19, Might come to India


It has been just over a year when Xiaomi launched its first VR set, the Mi VR Play. Considering the positive response which Xiaomi received for the product, they have decided to bring out an upgraded version of the VR set. The new VR set named as Mi VR Play 2 will come with many improvements and additional features. The VR Set will be available at a price of RMB 99 which would mean Rs. 930 in India.

Xiaomi has put a lot of focus on Mi VR Play 2 and has added new material to the design of the headset. This is mainly because they want to make the headset lot more comfortable for extended usage. If compared with its predecessor the new headset is very light in weight and can provide you with easier management. Xiaomi has placed in invisible holes in the headset to make it easier for cooling. The holes will make it easier to keep your Smartphone inside them. Xiaomi has termed the Vr headset as a toy as it is again priced very low and comes loaded many applications and 360-degree videos.

In terms of its design VR Play 2 has changed a lot as it comes with rounded edges. There is a button on top of the headset which makes its convenient for navigation. It needs to be seen if Mi VR Play 2 is launched globally. Considering the kind of success its predecessor got in India, the Mi VR Play 2 will be launched in India. The size of the headset is 201x107x97 mm, and it comes with the capacity to fit in Smartphones of any sizes between 4.7 inches and 5.7 inches. There are additional features like anti-glare glasses and button at the top for perfect navigation.
