ZTE Blade A2 Plus With 4GB RAM Launched in India


All new smartphone Blade A2 Plus was launched today by ZTE in India. The device will be available for sale on Flipkart from February 6, 2017. Blade A2 Plus will be contending with Lenovo K6 Power, Asus ZenFone 3s Max and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Blade A2 Plus has been talked much about its battery life. It has a 5000mAh battery which according to the company would last for two days.

The phone is available in two color variants – silver and gold. Blade A2 Plus has been decked with a metal body and a 5.5 inch HD display covered by 2.5D curved glass in front with a resolution of 1080 pixels x 1920 pixels. In terms of security, there is a fingerprint scanner that registers up to five fingerprints.

Blade A2 Plus Design and Specs

The handset weighs 189 grams with a thickness of 9.8 mm. The smartphone has been powered by a 64 bit 1.5 GHz octa-core processor Media Tek MT6750T coupled with Mali T860 GPU. It has a 4GB RAM and a storage capacity of 32GB. The storage can be extended up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Blade A2 Plus has two cameras – the front camera is 8 megapixel while the rear camera is 13 megapixel. There is a LED flash along with the rear camera for clear and bright pictures, and you can also record full HD videos. The connectivity options for Blade A2 Plus are Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.

The 5000mAh battery uses the fast charging technology to charge the phone. Moreover, it can be doubled up as a power bank so you can charge other devices too.


ZTE has priced the Blade A2 Plus at Rs.11, 999/-.  For a phone with specs above it is truly astounding. Blade A2 Plus is affordable and leaves no space for criticism in its looks. The metal body of the smartphone makes it look attractive and stylish.

CMO of ZTE India Terminal, Sachin Batra is confident about Blade A2 Plus to capture the hearts of the young demographic.  Batra said that it was an attempt on behalf of ZTE to reach the millions who are on their way to making India digital. He also expressed his desire to eliminate several external factors and give to the mobile industry the best smartphones. Batra also said that ZTE’s partnership with Flipkart is already in line with their growth strategy. Along with Flipkart, ZTE intends on widening the reach of their products.


The specs and the price of the Blade A2 Plus seem to have a plus point. The only thing awaited is the performance of the phone. Overall the smartphone is worth buying!
